Provider Responsibilities
Re-Certification
Within 60 days of an instructor’s expiration date, provide verification to WOU that an employee has taught a minimum of 30 hours of driver education classes in the previous 2 years. You can submit this verification via your Provider Portal within the RAPID automation system.
Continuing Education
Provide Western Oregon University with documentation for any in-service training sponsored by your organization. For in-service training to qualify for continuing education hours, the in-service must be pre-approved by WOU and relevant to driver education training. Send the following information to trafficsafety@wou.edu:
- Agenda
- Objectives
- Time Schedule
- List of Attendees and Hours Attended
